A collectable musical beer stein mug.  Made by Thorens of Switzerland known for manufacturing high-end audio & turntable equipment. 

The music box plays by winding a key. When you pick the stein up to take a drink the music plays and when you set it down a protruding stop turns it off. The song it plays is called “Harry Lime Theme”

Steins are traditional beer mugs made out of ceramics or stoneware, and are ornamental & highly collectible.
